This company listed above worked on a 2006 Toyota Prius Hybrid battery three times starting on Aug. 6, 2019 and fixed the battery. It was put back in the 2006 Prius but started to fail again in around the 20th of May 2020. It was again worked on and was fixed again and was given a 3 month warranty on the battery. The car was purchased on July 30, 2020 but the battery started to fail again Aug 15, 2020 Trusted Auto Sales was connected back and they said bring the battery back again to be repaired again for the third time. The battery was delivered to them in latter part of Aug. 2020. They worked on the battery and said it had six bad cells and maybe a couple more that were sort of bad but not needing fixed. They said the charges were going to be $200 for another three month warranty and $40 dollars for each of the six cells but they were only going to charge for 4 cells being replaced, making the final cost $360. We asked why wasn't the battery and cells covered under the second warranty which had started on 25 May 2020. They said the battery hadn't been delivered in time and the second warranty had ran out. This is untrue. After we got the battery back the third time it lasted about two days before going bad again. I called Trusted Auto Sales and spoke to the Manager Matt. He said I can't return your $360. I said I would contact Revdex.com. He came back within very short time and said I will pay you $200 dollars to bring the car with the battery in it to our shop and we will test it and repair the battery. I would of had to rent a tow dolly or a trailer to haul the car from Sierra Vista, AZ. to Tempe, AZ. about 191 miles and then stay over night till the battery and car would be fixed. I turned the offer down. We are now going out and buying a new battery from NAPA for a cost of about $1300 and then turning in the old battery in to cover the core charge. I want Trusted Auto Sales Inc. to pay me back $360 and maybe even some extra money for all the inconvenience they have put us through.
