Upon receiving my first monthly inkcredible box, I received a pen that did not work. The mechanism that fills the chamber with ink simply did not work leaving me with a fountain pen that could not be filled with ink.
I contacted support and was greeting by Chris who simply told me that the mechanism is different from other pens and to try again. I informed him I did watch an instructional video of how to fill this type of pen and the pen was indeed faulty and if I could receive a placement. I did not hear back from Chris and reached out some weeks after and still no reply. I tried again 6/19/2020 and again no reply.
This subscription was purchased in April and the item received in May. The simple notion of mailing a customer a replacement pen seemed easy enough and in good faith of their company and gratitude towards their customers. This was my first purchase and I must say I am glad I did not make the purchase of additional ink's and more expensive pens. I'm not sure if I would have ever received them in working order. I simply do not want this to happen to another customer, it isn't the right way to do business.
I even left a review on the site under the product I purchased in hopes that I would just be sent a new pen and an apology (which would have done wonders) but instead the review was removed and radio silence.
All I wanted was a replacement pen from a $25 subscription box. I was very happy with the ink samples provided.
I would like to remove my complaint #*** against Truphae Inc. they have resolved the issue and have apologized for the situation. I am very happy with their response and service going forward.Thank you
Our business has been partially closed due to Covid-19. Only one person was filling orders and answering customer inquiries. The inquiries from this customer went to our junk mail, so we were unaware that they existed until this complaint. We have reached out to the customer and have offered a replacement for her pen that she received in her $25 subscription box. We are awaiting a response.
