Review: Dear Revdex.com,
I would like to make an official complaint concerning the website www.truckingsuccess.com. I believe that the information depicted therein constitutes false and misleading advertisement and should be changed to reflect the true nature of the product in conjunction with the Small Business Administration (SBA) guidelines.
Both the company website and Business Plan Trucking 2015 document refer to grants as a means of funding, but the website is vague and misleading in order to entice the consumer to purchase their product. For example, if the Revdex.com visits the above mentioned website. It states “Apply for a Government Grant or Funds with our Business Plan.” While the actual document once downloaded stated in bold red letters “Please note that the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) does not offer grants to start or expand a small business; although, it does offer a wide variety of loan programs. While the SBA offers some grant programs, these are generally designed to expand and enhance organizations that provide small business management, technical, or financial assistance. These grants generally support non-profit organizations, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local governments. However, other government agencies listed on the SBA website offer additional grant programs.”
The later of the two paragraphs in quotation, should have been included on the website before purchase. The SBA does not provide grants for starting and expanding a business, but loan programs as mentioned above. In addition, their website does not display their refund policy, if available in an obvious location before you purchase. This information may be hidden to the consumer through a maze of links only the website owner knows.
I like to request that this misleading information be removed or revised to use direct information from the SBA website. In addition to requesting for a full refund.Desired Settlement: 100% refund and removal of all misleading information, in place of actual quotes from the SBA website.
