I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am not satisfied with just another set of used tiresIf the company didn't know the title status, it should have stated in the ad that the title status is unknown instead of being marked as a clean titleWe now have a car that we put quite a bit of money in that isn't worth much at all because it has a rebuilt titleWe purchased the car for our son to drive while he was building his car and therefore we'd be selling it once his car was finishedWith it having a rebuilt title, it is only worth half what it should beAs stated before, at the very least, we are owed a set of wheels and good tires
Regards,
*** ***
Response:The vehicle which was sold as is and was guaranteed a title, when the police have us impound these cars they give us owner info and we send certified letters to the ownerwe do not have a title in our possession to see if its branded, we do towing & storage paper work that gives us a
title to sell the car when it becomes ours from the impoundwe did give them a different set of tires and wheels which they approved before they were switched outso if they feel they were wronged I apologize and I will give them another set of used tiresthanksSent on: 5/17/10:31:AM
Response:this vehicle was towed on 03/21/@ 4:pm from *** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** which is *** *** when we towed the car to *** *** our Driver didn't notice any issues with the head liner but he was only in the car just to put it into neutual to load on the rollback
when we tow cars it would not have anything to do with the headliner, plus she called two months later and if the car was sitting locked up at a shop for two months the heat could have played a roll in the headliner issue that she is reporting
