After talking to the homeowner for over 18 minutes on 12-11-17 we both reached a settlement. He asked for $100.00 be refunded. Our company is giving this customer back $150.00 from the initial repair charge. There were some communication mistakes by both parties in this deal. This homeowner was...

given a verbal quote just 15 days after calling into our company. By our own standards we were slow in getting this customer a quote.  We have taken this as a learning tool that if an estimator is to overwhelmed that we will communicate that back to the homeowner immediately. We have also changed our repair service to skylights. No longer will we caulk a skylight, we will install a tarp over a leaking skylight to keep water out until a new one can be installed.
