We at Orchards towing received a call from Vancouver police on 10-28-2015 to respond to and tow a 2000 Jaguar s type whichofficer # [redacted] was at the location and gave us an impound slip to impound saidvehicle. On our slip it states reason for impound on 09-22-15 the officer hadmarked...

vehicle which was wrecked and is inoperable. owner aware left notesevery day asking that the officer not tow vehicle and that they had madearrangements for vehicle to be moved it states also that there was no note andnow it is the 28th and car still there so he towed as abandoned. We then tookit to our west location on 65th ave. On 09-30-15 around 10:50 am a male called and wanted to knowif we wanted to buy the above vehicle our dispatcher informed him we do not dothat.on 10-01-15 a [redacted] called and asked for price which was the the tow and storage up to the 30th plus tax.  was speaking with our new dispatcher stating that her car was towed and that she was not notified and the police did not know where car was till now and we need to give her the storage for free, our dispatcher tried to tell her to hold to take another call and she got mad, Ithe manager on duty picked up the line to try to talk to her she was yelling and crying that she should not pay since she did not know where her car was. I tried to explain to her that this was not our fault but she kept yelling andcrying  then she said she was going to put all over the computer bad things regarding our company I told her okaynothing I can do to help at this point she told me that I did not care because I only made minimum wage I said whatever she thinks and hung up at his point knowing I could do nothing to satisfy the situation. At about 1645 I got a call from our east location office saying she was on her way to pickup car that she was given the address on 65th ave. so I then stayed at 65th location till 17:30. On 10-02-15 at about 16:00 or so [redacted] called and said that she was on her way and wanted to know if I could give her a deal I said I will see when she gets there at about 16:30 or so she arrived  came with proof of ownership which was a bill of sale and documents from an insurance sale to her. I then released vehicle after speaking with her in front of a couple other employees she stated that she was sorry and very upset and said I did not tell her where car was I said well you never asked and how was I to tell you much when you were yelling at me. She said she had gotten our information off google. So I explained this wasn’t anad that we pay for. So I told her since she tried to come the day before I would cut her a day off storage she said okay and called [redacted] to come and get car because it could not be driven. I thought all was well till we received this from Mr [redacted] that had nothing to do with the vehicle.
