Dear Ms*** We understand that it can be frustrating receiving a utility bill, in which I understand is a new process to you, compared to your previous residence in Colorado Let me explain how our billing process works. The water ‘base’ fees are fees charged for
service, while the water charge is the actual allocated usage. The electric base fee is the same, fees charged for the service, while the electric charge is for the actual sub-metered usage, and so on and so forth The utility addendum, included in your lease packet, were all explained, and signed by yourself and a representative of our community. The utilities are all subject to fluctuation based on usage Also, we have not been informed of any busted pipes or water leaks which could affect your building and/or utility charge(s). We have also checked to verify your work order requests and only found one service request entered for your air conditioning unit. Moving forward, please make sure that all of your service requests are submitted in writing, to avoid any future discrepancies. Unfortunately, every apartment community has a different billing process, therefore, whatever they bill their residents would not coincide with how we bill our residents Once again, we are very sorry you are not happy with the utility billing process. We do appreciate your residency here at Tribecca Pointe Apartments, and hope that we can work together in resolving any future problems Please see attached utility addendums Regards, *** *** Tribecca Pointe Property Manager
