In reference to the complaint against Triangle your claim # [redacted] .Mrs [redacted] was sold a metal transition for $7.Sfor her LVT vinyl job in her bathroomAt the time of installationShe was offered a gold or silver transition metal, she chose gold with the installerDue to the fact thatmany of her fixture metals were goldWe carry both colors on our trucksAga in SHE CHOSE GOLD!At the suggestion of a friend after the installation, the friend thought the transition should be silver*** called the store and I told her we could change it to silver, but it would not be right away, due to theextremely busy preholiday schedule, it would be after ChristmasShe then called and said she wanted a wood transition insteadI told her at that time we could do that, but there would be an extra charge for the labor andcost of the wood transitionShe agreed she would pay extra for thatShe never asked for a quote and I never gave her a price.My installer did call her after the holiday, she never called him returned his callShe chose on her own to have someone else do it for her and thinks I should pay for itI told her we would notIt was not part of her job as sold.From our end, if purchased the wood transition would cost about $35, pending selection, plus trip charge for the labor of $minimum plus tax.She chose her person to purchase and install it, and it cost her less than what we would have charged.I am not responsible to put in that wood transition in, because she never contracted for itShe bought metal and I was going to change it to silver as a courtesy, but she chose a different route on her own.In closing, I explained very clearly to her and never gave her the impression we would pay for the wood transitionShe agreed she would pay extra.This matter is closed on my endIf you look for my Revdex.com records you will see we do not have a bad reputation in the communityWe thrive on customer service and I am so rry she thinks this is our problemHer job was installedand completed as purchased.Sincerely, [redacted] Owner Triangle ApplianceFlooring department and manager
