Review: RE: TRI Point Home Truewind

I moved into Lot 1, Model 3 of the Truewind build by Tripointe construction on December 23rd, 2015. Before we decided to buy the model home, we looked at the website of this company. They have a lot of locations all over the United States, and so we trusted that they can build quality homes. However, we only found disappointment.

The day we walked through the house we complaint about the stair way rug look old and wear out, they refuse to replace and threatening us if we don’t processing the escrow paper work we will losing the deposit. We made decision to moving in order we are not losing the deposit.

The day after we moved in, the master bathroom flooded due to poor construction of the water pipes (the pipes were blocked with a big stone, and when we ran the washer it flooded the sink). It ruined the cabinets and warped them. To repair it they have to cut through the wall, remove the toilet, and dig through the landscaping to fix it. This is just shoddy construction.

Also, the gas line to our outside grill is unconnected, and when inquiring about it, customer care is trying to get out of it All the other model homes have it installed already with natural-- why did they skip ours? Now they want to order some parts to convert from natural to propane. We purchased a very expensive home, and I would like Truewind to fix this make our house same as other model home for us. It's unacceptable to have so many issues when purchasing such a nice home.Desired Settlement: Change the rug and fix the gas line to natural, make our house same as other model home.
