Purchased a used wrangler a couple weeks ago. The sales man is terrible, doesn't even pretend to be your friend. Didn't ever seem to care, the finance guy helped me with a majority of the purchase. And I returned days later to see if it was supposed to have floor mats and the salesman gave me ones that don't even fit.. A couple days ago I went to remove the soft top for the first time, the zipper for the rear window wasn't working properly. So I was sent to their shop and they had no idea how to repair it or resolve the issue. A place that sells jeeps doesn't even know how to fix something so minor! Luckily I know a lot about vehicles anyways and was able to fix it myself.. You'd think after spending $20k on a vehicle they could figure something out to keep the customer happy. I even tried to resolve this whole issue with them through Facebook messenger and they viewed it, but no response. I'm never returning to this dealership for ANYTHING ever again nor suggesting it to anyone.
Trilakes has talked to the customer Friday the 20th of April and took care of any issue he was having with the Vehicle. Customer was Happy as of the 20th! We always strive to make the customer Happy!
Took our 2007 Chrysler Aspen in to diagnose why it kept misfireing #5 cylinder on 10/16/2017. My wife dropped it off on her way to work. They called me later stating they had performed a Compression test and #5 was only showing 40psi and the others that were tested were 90psi. They also stated it would crank a long time before it would start. They said the motor was wore out and needed to be replaced. This made no sense to me since the car always fired right up. They gave an estimate of $6-$7000.
I told them to put it back together and call my wife so she could pick it up. They never called my wife.
I decided to perform my own Compression test the following Saturday. My test showed 135-145 psi on all cylinders except #6, which showed 110psi. This is well within specs for an engine with 170,00 miles on it. I also found #3 had been misfireing since the spark plug was severely burnt. I guess they only do a partial compression test.
I emailed the service manager with my findings and a request for a refund which he provided.
I will also note that my 2000 F-350 diesel had a severe oil leak from the high pressure oil pump. I had a diagnoses from my normal shop but they couldn't get to it for 3 weeks so I took it to Tri-Lakes. Picked up, drove it home, about 15 miles, drove it to work the next day and was coming back from getting supplies and the truck died and wouldn't start. Checked the oil and found it was a gallon low. I guess they don't check oil level after they perform service. I put a gallon of oil in and it doesn't seem to have caused any damage.
When I called the tech he said that the truck wouldn't have even started if it was that low on oil and offered to redemption on their part. He was rude and stated that there must be another issue with the truck, 8 months later and I have no oil loss !!?
Would expect more from a Certified Dealer's Service Center.
Service garage is extremely disorganized and lack in customer service. We dropped our SUV off the night before it was to be serviced, (install a power steering gear and suspension). The next day, late afternoon I called service to see what time I could pick up my vehicle. I was told the part never came in and maybe tomorrow it will be here. !!! I took a day off work, sat at home all day so this repair could be completed and yet they could not even pick up the phone that morning to notify me the part did not come in. We returned to have the part installed, 3 weeks later. With this repair they had to do a wheel alignment - which was done....so we think. One week later we purchased 4 new tires from another vendor - they said our alignment was off and asked if they should fix it. I called Tri-Lakes service - their response - Oh that's odd - well bring it back in. They looked at it and said yes it's off...we don't know how that could've happened. 3 weeks later we now have power steering fluid dripping from our car. We called Tri-Lakes service and they are now stating it has nothing to do with replacing the power steering gear and suspension. They DO NOT know what they are doing. Their customer service is horrific and they have no respect for the customer. DO NOT GO THERE. Sad thing is, I was told by 3 co-workers not to go there but I did not listen. I will now be the 4th person in my work environment informing other co-workers to not go there.
