Review: I dropped off my motorcycle to have a new rear tire put on. They contacted me the next day advising that the belt guard was destroyed. It looks like it could have been either due to a pot hole or improper use of their jack. I let it go and they tried to straighten it out as best as they could, however would not accept responsibility for it. My left hand grip had the glue stripped off of it from the improperly tying it down on their motorcycle lift. Once again I let it go because it was a simple fix. The major issue is that I have no rear brakes on the motorcycle since they worked on it. As I left the dealership I noticed that the brakes seemed spongy and non responsive, but seeing as they had the caliper off to put the new tire on I figured that they just had to reset themselves and would do so on the 12 mile ride home. Once I got home I immediately called [redacted] in their service department and advised that I did not have any brakes and asked for his advice. He said he wasn't sure why they weren't working, but recommended bleeding them to clear any air in the lines. I followed his instructions and bled the brakes, however there wasn't any improvement. The bike has been sitting in the garage since 4/10/2014 when I got it home due to the safety issue and no resolution. I contacted an authorized [redacted] dealer on 5/28/2014 and explained what was going on and they also said to bleed the brakes. Once again I bled the brakes some more but was unable to resolve the issue. This time I looked at the rear brake caliper and noticed that it is cross threaded and was not installed properly when they put my motorcycle back together and is due to their carelessness because it was never touched before I dropped my motorcycle off there. The mechanic at the [redacted] dealer said it is way too much of a liability and a safety risk working on it as they left it and would all need to be replaced. I have not heard back from the owner of Tri-City about having my issue resolved.Desired Settlement: I want my motorcycle properly repaired at an authorized [redacted] dealer with Tri-City Powersports covering any cost of the repair that was due their mistakes. Now that we are dealing with a major safety risk, I do not want them working on my motorcycle anymore, because I do not trust my life in the hands of the mechanics at Tri-City Powersports with their carelessness and negligence towards other people and their property.
