Revdex.com called business to follow up on this complaint and spoke to *** ***She said they have rerented the consumer's apartment, refunded his security deposit and sent him a copy of his lease as requested
Resident signed a one year lease on July 17, and moved out October 28, We informed him we would re rent the apartment as soon as possible Once apartment is re rented, he will no longer be responsible for the remainder of the lease he signed
the lease is void as a matter of law because provisions are inconsistent with Ohio law I have provided days notice, which is more than reasonable under the circumstances (I got laid off from my job inColumbus, Ohio and had to move home to Atlanta, Georgia
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.
Review: I live on a rented lot in [redacted] mobile home park. Several times a year, without warning, the water shuts off. This leaves me without access to a toilet, shower and sink, so I have no way to get ready for work. There is no alternative or emergency facility. Each time they try to blame the power company for shutting off power to their water processing plant. But if that were the truth, either 1) the power would be off at my lot, which it is not; or 2) they should have bought a generator years ago so the residents could have water when we need it.Desired Settlement: They should be required to provide backup measures so that if their water processing plant loses power, the residents can still get water. They should be required to reimburse us for having to check in at a motel just to use the facilities.
