Review: Upon purchasing my 2013 Ford F150 supercrew truck, my wife and I were assured the vehicle had a tow package. The salesman even looked up the towing capacity on the computer and assured us that it would tow our camper. The tow package was also discussed with another saleslady and the owner of the dealership. At no time were we informed that this vehicle did not have a tow package. Once discovered the dealership wrote us a check for half the amount to get the appropriate wiring installed and a certificate for one free oil change. Upon purchasing this vehicle we were also assured that the oil had been changed as the paper they gave us stated. Upon inspection the oil filter was dirty and within two weeks of limited driving (approx. 200 miles) the change oil light came on. A phone call was place to the dealership to discuss this and the owner was very belligerent accusing me of being a liar and telling me to drop the issue. He also stated that the oil was changed and that the oilchange light sometimes comes on prematurely, however he stated they would change the oil. We did not receive the window sticker from the truck until a week after the purchase at which time we had another individual (not associated with this dealership) run the VIN number and discovered that in fact the vehicle did not have a tow package. In light of both incidents I am filing this complaint because I don't feel it is appropriate to treat customers this way.Desired Settlement: For future customers to be better informed about this business and their practices.
