My roommate and I came across Cory ***/Tree Zenn ad for "Premium Chopped Dry Firewood" that was seasoned and we were super excited. I was working so she went to go pick up the firewood. She's never had to purchase it before so didn't know what to look for it but we trusted Corry. When I got home I found nothing but tree branches! These are all tiny little logs cut from a much larger tree. Nothing was split or splittable to make fires with. Now I would have been fine if it was a mixture of both, but there is not but maybe three pieces that I can split to make kindling out of. This was nothing like he had posted on his ad or in the photo in his ad. When I called him to make it right, he started cussing at me and calling me names and told me "firewood is firewood bro there is no difference" and hung up on me.
I recommended that nobody ever purchases anything from Cory ***, do not trust him or his company, Tree Zenn LLC. He totally took advantage of my roommate our $125 for maybe 1/4 cord, but def not half and not premium, seasoned, split firewood as his ad states. This wood wouldn't even burn even with fire starters, 8 pieces of kindling and lots of paper under it.

I chop and split completely dry seasoned Firewood. We offer a premium mix match of hardwoods. Our wood is a rare variety of specialty types that not all wood yards can get there hands on.
The batch contains hardwoods; Crab Apple, Mostly All Honey Locust, and Silver Maple, and some Ash.

I have been selling firewood for years. This is the first time I have ever had anyone make a complaint. I have many recommendations of happy/satisfied client’s. I measure out the firewood percisely to what google suggests a half cord of firewood makes up. The wood was already all firewood length & size there is no difference at that whether you split it or not if it is already firewood & you can fit it into your fireplace. The client showed up with one of her friends. I made sure from start to finish while helping them load the wood that they were satisfied with the wood. I in no way, shape, or form was trying to take advantage of anyone I was trying to give my firewood away for a good price. What I don’t understand is that you wanted it to be split & then you go on saying that it was tree branches if it were tree branches how could you split one piece into three pieces? The half cord mostly contained pieces that were 3-6inches in width & 16-24invhes in length. Also, I don’t not ever call people names & cuss at them when handling business & don’t understand why someone would want to sham me so much when all I was trying to do was sell wood to people that need to heat their homes. I have been selling the same wood to client’s all week long & several have came back to me thanking me, not one client has told me that they couldn’t even get the fire to start. Wood is flammable especially if it is dry. All the wood cane from trimming bigger dead branches out of trees that are hardwood trees. You should be able to get a fire started with anything that we gave you. Apologies if you truly feel something against me however why would you pickup the wood if you weren’t satisfied while loading it into your car. Also, if you didn’t know what wood you were purchasing you should have came & looked at the wood with the nice lady & older man, (that new all about firewood & was happy with what we were selling him). I don’t understand the angry comments & don’t feel that I was wrong in any way. I am just trying to conduct good thorough business & never do I try to take advantage of anyone.
