Treasure Beach RV Park and Family Campground

All people care about is their paycheck. Very rude people and uncaring to anyone's needs. Park unclean and muddy. They tried saying I had an extra person with me and charged me $50 which I didn't have. Money hungry and rude!!

The campgrounds is very clean and has a lot of amenities. As a seasonal renter, I have enjoyed being there with my family but in the past year and specifically recently they have made changes that make that difficult. They do not send out the seasonal rate increase until a week or two before the close of the season and the deposit for the next season is due. This does not give people ample time to decide if they can afford to stay or go. This season with only less than two weeks to opening day they sent out a letter. Usually you would expect a welcome back and these are some improvements we made during the winter letter. This letter was very negative. It included all the new rules, fees, regulations, and multiple impound rules and fees. They pride themselves on being family oriented but with a rate increase for overnight visitors going from $5 a night to $15 a night and day visitors $5 per person it does not allow families and friends to afford to come to visit at your own camper. It also mentions “one of our camera’s catch the person” pertaining to trash on sites or end of roads. I understand about keeping things clean but I feel that cameras watching me is more than a little evasive to my privacy. Another rule that was changed was no for sale signs anywhere including in windows of the camper due to “This does not present well when visitors are looking at our park and considering coming here to stay.”. I believe that they knew many people were going to be upset and try to leave and this is their way of preventing that and making them look bad. There were many other changes in the five plus page letter. Many people are upset but are afraid to suggest or say their opinion due to the fact they will not listen and just kick you out within. Our thoughts and opinions are not important to Treasure Beach RV Campground. They do not seem to like their customers.
