Treasure Autos International

On March 23, 2019, I paid Treasure Autos International a fee of $2000 in two installments by email transfer to ship my 2008 *** from Canada to Nigeria. On April 18, 2019, I was told by *** that the car had been shipped to Nigeria and it would arrive on May 06, 2019. However, on May 20, I noticed that my car had not been included in the shipment container and it was still in Saskatoon. When I phoned Mr. , he told me that on the day of loading he was in distress and, as a result, he didn't check the container to verify whether my car had been included. As a result they loaded other cars instead of mine - my car was left here in Saskatoon. Mr. also assured that he would include my vehicle in another container and promised me that everything would be fine. With all of these I asked to be refunded me for his lack of professionalism. At this time, I was upset when I learnt that I would have to wait for an additional 2 months before my car got delivered in Nigeria, but then I was still patient and hopeful. On May 21, 2019 Mr. phoned me demanding more money needed to pay for custom duties for other cars that I was not aware of and I refused to give him more money. Because my car is still in Saskatoon, why should I pay for additional custom duties. Because I refused to pay him upfront for these alleged custom duties, Mr. has refused to release the vehicle back to my possession. Based on the bill of lading ($3200)that I paid him, the vehicle was scheduled to arrive in Nigeria on August 8, 2019. On August 7, I paid all custom Duties to Mr. as requested for the supposed vehicle arrival on Aug. 8, 2019. After paying all that was requested and meeting all of Mr. demands, he has still refused to release my car and currently he is asking for more money before releasing the car to me. I paid him all the money due and I don't owe him. All I want is my car back and/or that he pays me back all my money and for the distress he has caused to me.
