OK, I can understand staff being busy with other customers so as not to be able to answer the Help Line in a timely manner but haven't you guys heard of answering machines? Hearing a busy signal for 6 hours bodes badly as WS said. Then I sent the suggested email during your business hours. No Reply. Haven't you guys seen the 'out of the office', 'on vacation till Monday' auto email answers?
We are happy because in the 20 months we have had our unit we have used it A LOT. 1500+ miles? No problems except the belt had slipped far(?) to the right and I repositioned it using common sense inspite of the official directions to call a repair person who probably wouldn't answer the phone anyway. BUT it sounds a little different now. I'm thinking, with no justification of course, that the belt is now too tight or rear roller is not positioned correctly.
I really, really really would like to talk to a Treadly human who is familiar with the model we bought and can understand mid-western English and discuss how the mechanism works in a manner that will help me adjust the rear roller to factory specs. Not too much to ask? Thank you, Myron 6/10/23
Same thing happened to me... EXACTLY. I used an American Express card and filed for a refund. I sent them a pdf of all the emails and promises. They credited the money back to me. You might want to see if your credit card will credit you back your purchase.
We have shared 87 emails over the course of several months trying to get our new Treadly replaced with one that works. It took months of pictures and proof to agree to a replacement. They then required us buy our own ultra- large box and shipping supplies to return it at our own cost. When we finally, after many months received our new Treadly ... it only worked ( following manufacturers guidelines ) for 1,800 steps. They now want us to pay for an upgrade code. The product is as awful as their customer service practices. Please do not waste your time and money on this machine.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Our customer support team is always happy to assist you via a troubleshooting call or email. Once our team has identified the issue, the unit requires an inspection at our facility, we asked the customer to document the condition of the machine prior to shipping to ensure coverage if any damage arises during transit. Additionally as of late 2019, if the customer no longer has the original box, we will ship one to them free of charge. The customer has purchased the version of the unit without the Bluetooth feature enabled on December 27, 2018 and has since contacted on April 14, 2020 inquiring regarding a prompt on their phone when trying to connect with the app which instructs them to contact our customer support team. We provided information to the customer so that she can enable that feature if she would like, by purchasing an upgrade code (This feature was not part of the original product). The option is still available and she can always contact us directly at *** Monday through Friday 9 am - 6 pm EST.
Ordered for light use in the basement of our home - after several months it began skipping and making noise. Tried everything recommended - oiled belt, tightened belt, etc. Nothing worked. After some back and forth it was identified that it has a mechanical issue which they'll repair - but I'm responsible for buying a new treadly box to have it sent back in (since that's the only way they can have it shipped back to them). I've already sunk enough money into this, and refuse to pay them a dollar more.
If you want to pay $700 for something that only works a few months, this is the treadmill for you. If you want to have something that goes over 5.0 mph and lasts, save your money and go elsewhere!
We are very sorry to hear this customer has had an unpleasant experience. The customer contacted our support team 2 days before their warranty was due to be expired (unit was delivered 1 year ago) - it was identified by our team that there is a mechanical issue and the customer is covered under warranty. Under the warranty, we cover all expenses to ship the unit to our facility and back to the customer. The customer informed us that they do not have the original box and protection materials to ship the unit back to us. They were informed by our team that we can ship a box to them but they will need to cover the shipping costs. After a supervisor's approval, our team made an exception and a box was shipped to the customer at no cost.
Terrible company. I have now wasted over 6 months trying to get in touch with someone since my product broke not too long after receiving it.
I had been in touch with numerous employees who guaranteed they would send me the required box/shipping label to return my product. A month went by with nothing. I called again was given the same run around and waiting game.
By January I called and emailed and forced someone to confirm via email that they were receiving my correspondence. They then took two more months to get me a competent person who advised I had to pay to ship this broken useless machine back. Including all sorts of extra stocking fees, shipping videos, photos and hoops to return a broken product.
After not being able to use it more than two months I was beyond frustrated. I don't have time to call customer service everyday. I work full time, as I am sure many of the people who would purchase this type of "convenient" treadmill do.
I spent another month getting someone on the phone only to be advised they have no legal department to talk to. Their C.O.O is travelling the world and can't be reached. Basically nothing they can do to assist someone who pre-purchased and was excited at the prospect of such a supposed "light-weight" and easy to use machine. I was left with nothing to do to remedy besides paying to send it back and get another useless hunk of metal that will clearly break again. I would never want another one, it takes up too much space and the company has no honor behind their product.
I just want my money back. The actual Treadmill is terrible. Too small to even walk on, I am 5 feet tall so that is saying a lot. It over-heats after ten minutes. It breaks easily. The belt moves and has to be tightened all the time. Nothing about it is light. It cannot be used on Carpet. You cannot run. The belt size is small so if you take longer strides it shuts down. Overall, terrible piece of equipment that I will now be throwing away. Biggest waste of $700 and even bigger disappointment in the company.
They are one of the worst companies. Scam artist. And Thieves. Never have I met a company with such terrible service and lack of value in their own product. I will make sure everyone I talk to knows to never ever use their products and to alert all their friends.
