WORST FOOD IVE EVER ATTEMPTED TO EAT! We got the (2) large orders of sesame chicken with chicken fried rice- the rice was fine but the sesame chicken was nothing but fatty pieces, literally every single bite was full of gristle. Wasn’t edible in any way. The manager was rude & unhelpful when I called, she ended up hanging up on me when I asked her name.
My name is ***, I am the chef of Tray King House Restaurant. I will explain and tell u all the truth about this case. First of all, that customer order the food from our restaurant with a order Sesame Chicken, after that she called back and complained the chicken has all the fat and no chicken, she requested to have money back, so my front desk people told her if u are not satisfied the food, u can have fully refund if u bring the food back, and she refused to bring it back the reason is she lived an hour away, it won’t worth, and she ask why we have the policy like that, why we can’t refund the money on her card, I believe that she paid with credit card, but my wotkmate explained to her we need the evidence to approved that the food really has problems, that is our policy to protect our business because we are only a small business, we can’t afford the cheating by some people do this or some other reasons, that is why we have to ask them to bring the food back. At the last, she said will bring the food back, but didn’t show up, I just want to say that we opened 26 years of business here, we cut most of the fat of the chicken to fix all the foods on my menu, the Sesame Chicken is most popular on my menu, and I accept and invite anyone come taste my food from your department , I also want u guys to help us to tell the people what is a truth in this case, at the last, I just advised this customer they should go buy something at their local store, so they can bring the purchase back and have money back if they think have any problem with their purchase . The disgusting inedible fatty chicken was thrown in the garbage because I had no room for it in my refrigerator. I would have happily brought the food back if I didn’t live an hour each way so two hours total. That is a little ridiculous to ask me to bring it back under those circumstances! I have never called and complained about food from your restaurant because it’s always been good! My husband & I ate there frequently when we lived in *** but we no longer do & I was craving Chinese so we got take out from you and I must say, it was awful! I want a refund because the food was inedible & was thrown away! What happened to the customer is always right? I don’t cheat anyone, I have money & eat out frequently with no issues or problems but guess what? There was an issue with the food & it wasn’t good! I demand my money be refunded strictly for principal because you should believe and show courtesy to your customers if they have an issue! Your policy only protects you but stabs your customers in the back! I will be filing a complaint with the health department and FCC next if my refund isn’t provided.
