We have already admitted an error when putting the payment in AND have refunded the monies back to the customer. This was literally done within a Week of being notified. At no point did we even ask for bank statements. All we asked for was a check number and the day the check was sent to help expedite the search for the check that was not put in properly. We did apologize to both Ruby AND Dana. Actually, I personally called Ruby several times so she understood my concern for the error and I asked for more details to help prevent this issue in the future (on our end). As far as the timing of the trip I can say that it is just false to say 2 hours were added because of 1 additional stop added to the pickups. This is very common to do not just at our company but in the motor-coach industry as a whole. To be frank, a simple google maps search would show even a direct route from their pickup would have been approx. 2.5 hours and that is without stops or major traffic. We have apologized for this incident and there was absolutely no delay in getting a check sent out for reimbursement. Although I admit the check was originally not put in the computer correctly I think that we did a more than adequate job in handling the situation and taking steps to avoid this in the future.
