I lived at a TransWest property in Tucson, Arizona. The apartment complex was physically falling apart. I could not safely live in my unit and had to stay in hotels, and eventually move out after two months living there and trying to resolve serious problems. The property manager's agent at the building has posted for years now on Twitter about getting blackout drunk, which is consistent with the behavior I witnessed. While I lived at the property, recently released convicts moved in next door, my locked up bike was stolen, I witnessed drug deals in the parking lot, and I was subject to violent behavior by the property manager. These complaints are the tip of the iceberg. This is a company that builds failing properties, rents them out, and then makes unearned profits on move out fees for these broken homes. They operated at times without being registered with the Arizona Corporation Commission, which is consistent with their irresponsible behavior generally.
