Review: Transitions Contracting was hired to complete a list of finish details on our kitchen renovation. Initially in the day, the work was completed to my satisfaction by [redacted]. At approximately 2:30pm, however, [redacted]'s professional manner changed completely when he made an advance of a sexual nature towards me. When I refused his advances and asked him to return to work, he continued to press the issue despite my clear refusal. The remaining work after this incidence was sloppy and unprofessional. The painting was badly done and there is now paint on our brand-new cabinets and countertop; the countertop seams were not completely sealed with silicone as we had requested; a bookshelf repair was badly done with no attempt to conceal the repair; and lastly, a hole in the plaster wall was not repaired properly and plaster was left on our new floor and grout. Additionally, [redacted] did not come prepared with the proper tools to complete the work and ended up needing to use a great number of the tools we own in our apartment. The unprofessionally finished work combined with [redacted]'s inappropriate behavior has left us with a very bad experience and an unfinished kitchen. Transitions Contracting responded that they were willing to refund the money I was requesting, but a refund check never arrived. I am filing this new complaint in regards to the missing refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check for $300 as previously requested by me and previously agreed to by Transitions Contracting in complaint # [redacted].
