I would like to report this moving company because it provides false advertisement. I request Trans-Envios Cargo their service because when owner gave me a quote out of 4 different companies they were the cheapest one; he said it will cost me $3,500 of what I had in my storage to be shipped to Colombia. We verbally agreed he look very honest person. When the time arrived to pick up my things from the storage; once the things were in his possession at his warehouse Trans-Envios told me that it will cost me $5,270.00 I was very disappointed and very upset since I did not have the whole amount. At the end I end up paying that $5,270.00 because he had all my belongings. The transition and service was very stressful; deliver dates were not prompt and so on. When I received my things in Colombia a couple of things were missing and my wall-unit came broken. An external DVD drive and computer cable got lost were never delivered and he claimed they were never received. I spoke with owner directly a couple of time and he said that he will send someone to pick up my wallunit to get it fix and I haven't hear from him since late November that was the last time we spoke with him. Trans-Envios Cargo charged me an insurance in case something get lost or damaged and he never assume the damages and lost. This company is very unprofessional this is the reason why Im taking the time to report them so others don't go through the same situation. Thank you for your time.

Desired Outcome

Repair I would Trans-Envios Cargo to fix my wall unit as he mentioned he will and replace my Apple DVD external drive and compute cable that were lost at his possession. I have copies of all the payments that were made to Trans-Envios Cargo along with the payment for the Insurance. That's all Im asking. Thank you

I personally spoke to Ms. Nidia Ricardo and asked for her approval to turn in the response in Spanish as it is the optimal language for the company's president to respond in and for the allowed time to submit it. Good afternoon;
Based on the letter that Mr Nivia wrote I disagree with what he wrote. First of all, if you notice that price was completely off there is a big difference from $3500 to $5270.00. Himself gave me the quote he went to the storage where I had my personal belongings, and told me verbally that besides the $3500 roughly will increase like about $600 that most for packing. I agreed. But it was a very dramatic increase. And he knows that. I don't recall signing a contract with him I only have a bunch of receipts of all the payments I made to Trans Envios. If he can provide that I will greatly appreciate it. On the letter he claimed that I did not make the driver aware of that damage, and yes I did. It was already damage before putting it down. The drivers response was call Transenvios they handle if there is any damages. And thats what I did, right after I immediately called him. And he knows that I call him and send him a video right away of the damage. After so many attempts to figure it out how the damage was going to get fix he asked me to get a quote here in Colombia from a carpenter to get it fix.We did, a carpenter came to the house and told us that the structure was complete destroyed basically need to be replace the parts because it was ruin. The carpenter quote was $800,000 colombian pesos not US dollars like he mentioned on the letter. And he knows that it was pesos my husband spoke to him and even that it seen to be expensive. Therefore, transenvios did not agreed with the price that the carpenter was charging. After a couple of calls to Transenvios we agreed that he will send someone to pick up the wallunit to get it fix. Until today we still waiting for that to happen.Besides I had paid an insurance if something happen.
In regards to the other extra items I need it to send at last minute due to my job, like my personal computer and speaker that I used for work yes it is true it was included in price already. But guess what when I went to drop them off a day before leaving he want me to pay extra and I told I was not going to pay anything because these items were already included in the price . I did not pay extra but I lost my Mac computer cable and my external DVD. Bottom line a lot incidents with Trans envios occurred. I feel that is not a business of a word. That's why I don't agree with his statements mentioned on letter. Thanking in advance for your attention to this matter.
