This place sucks, if ran by a ***. This place had bad customer sevrice skills.
I sold a 55' Samsung Smart TV to Trade it, with the understanding that I could buy it back the same day by putting it on Layaway.
I call in to firstly ask for an extension on my Layaway, when I did I spoke with an Associate of Trade It! in ***, NC.. I explained to her that I had a 55' Samsung TV on Layaway, and that the due date to get it out was 3/15/19. I was told that that was not the item I had on Layaway, and that I needed to have a 'Receipt' in order to go into the details of the transaction. When I called back I called out the numbers that was on the Receipt that was given to me on 2/18/19, and she stated that it did not match with the 55' Samsung, and that I had lost that item because I failed to pay based on the contracted agreement of making at least $5 every (2) weeks from the start of the layaway. She even first stressed I had no item such as the 55' Samsung, and put me on hold, before concluding this. I was ask to come to the store with the receipts, when I get there the associates go to the back and come back explaining it was an error on their part they placed my payment, the cashier working that day on someone else account, and they in error sold the TV... They said it was gone and it was nothing that could be done. I ask could they bye another so that I could retrieve it, they said no, because I should have looked at the receipt, they have surveillance all over the store and did not question I did not make the payment on that day..... I have receipts and a video of her as we had the discussion.....
I am asking that I actually be able to retrieve a 55' Samsung Smart High Definition TV, the same that I sold to them, and in turn bought back, and put on layaway the same evening, as it was explained to me to do by the associate for the cash that I needed...
We are the corporate office of Trade It! and just received this paperwork. We were having email conversations with the customer and responded March 1st with a proposal but didn't receive a reply after that. We are unsure if the customer went to the store and resolved the matter. I have attached the email conversation. Thank you for your time.
