This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life I have spent close to two hours today trying to get a replacement phone activated and it has cost me all the minutes - $worth - on my phone I have dealt with three different representatives, none of whom are able to speak clearly in English They cannot explain to me why I cannot send or receive calls on this new phone and said they will have to look further into it I had my old Tracfone for six years with no problems and now I have no phone - old or new -that works These are the rudest people When I asked whether they wanted thier phone sent back to them one of the reps told me to throw the new phone in the garbage if I didn't want it He said they didn't want it either Then he told me "our business is concluded here" it is safe to say I am done with Tracfone I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know will ever consider purchasing a phone from them
This is so beyond negitive im not even sure of the correct word I should use!I hate the customer service,the repersentives are rude disrespectful, untrained and uncaring to the point if I had another choice id never have service with this company again!!I will not ever recommend this company to family or friends not even and enemy! Fix my issues with my account and device or I will keep screaming to everyone who will listen because I should not have to go through this!!i wish the scale would go lower than zero cuz id pick negitive infinity to rate my satisfaction with you guys!!!!
After waiting for an hour and twenty minutes to speak with a manager, I was rudely cut off by the customer service representativeMoreover, the customer service representative with whom I worked to set up my new phone, did not even know how the phone actually functionedI called back several times trying to resolve this issueI finally spoke to a Luis (ID # 207), who told me he was the boss of the companyWhen I asked him to transfer me to MsKeva B., Manager Executive Resolution, Luis told me he could not do thatFurthermore, Luis said that, transferring the call to MsKeva B., Manager Executive Resolution, would actually be a downgrade of the problem resolution since Luis is the boss of the company (LOL)I suggest Tracfone develop a better problem resolution process since at the present moment, it is extraordinarily deficient
well this will be times now that my phone has all the sudden was deactivated, funny thing is I get the run around and I asked why my husbands phone never has this problemwell I got the "they are different phones where we are making the call, outages, blah blah blahDO NOT I repeat DO NOT use this company for a cell phone provideri asked why all the sudden it started to do this and yup you guessed it no real answer BAD NEWS COMPANY
I am very disappointed with TracFone I stopped my service months ago and yet they have continued to charge me fees every month since thenThey appear to be incapable in unwilling to stop these charges even though I have contacted them repeatedly
on Thursday sept18, at 1:34pm pst I received a call from [redacted] number) a woman who refused to give her name said she was with tracfone wireless satated "I you (me) call one more time your safelinklink phone will be permantly deactive" and end call with something about not playing games call lasted about minute, about minutes or so prior that person tried to call but I was not abel to answer in time so this was her second call in my opinion this call was a threat in terms of threatening to terminate my service questions I think are valid and need answering 1- who called me? 2- why did they call me? 3- anybody tell this woman to call me? if so who and why 4-is this threat legal? threat to terminate my safelink phone
This is a business that does not respect customer's wishesI've requested to be removed from their email list close to times, yet I am constantly being emailed by their marketing departmentThey provide an "unsubscribe" option in their emails, but never remove you from their systemI shouldn't have to go out of my way to create filters in my email program to remove their constant spam
DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY I have been using TracFones for 5-years now I've upgraded phones times, the last being their Galaxy Centura This phone is a piece of garbage At times the "touch screen" has such a lack of sensitivity that you have to press the icon multiple times to get it to open Other times you're in one app, touch nothing, and it opens a screen and you have no idea what it is and have to use the back button I decided to go back to my old TracFone Two issues, you lose your minutes (I have 1291) and they tell me they will have to send me a new SIM card If you have issues understanding accents, forget about trying to talk to Customer Service, there is no support in the United States
My tracFone service has been attrociousThey play a funny little "hot potatoe" game with the "Net 10" service provider on their "Pay as you go" phonesMy buddy is on the phone dealing with them right now and I'm only a click away from filing a formal complaintRight now I have funneled a little over $into trying to get more time on my phone to no avail
TracFone has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered Not only will their phones only work in the zip code they are activated in, their service representatives refuse to offer any assistance whatsoever They were rude, insincere, and dishonest I cannot ever recommend someone wasting their money with this company!!!
Very Poor Customer Service: The telephone number to my tracfone has apparently been "re-assigned"! This happened within hours after the expiration of the service days for my phone I have had this tracfone and phone number for years! I have always used the pay-as-yand have regularly purchased days of service time I find this change to my number unfair, beyond inconvenient and suspicious at best The problem started today when I tried to buy my usual days/minutes of airtime/service - eight hours after the expiration of my service time on 02-21- I still had 1,units on the phone After entering my c card info, your web site indicated a error and that the "order could not be processed at this time- please try again later" When I tried to the transaction online, I continued to get an error that kept looping me back to the "step 1" page of the activation process and would not allow me to go any further After several calls to reach someone with Tracfone support and being shuffled around on your automated phone system, I was finally able to reach someone in India The person I reached was not at all helpful and told me I was basically out of luck and that I had lost my phone number of years - just hours after the expiration of my service time! After the first person I spoke with could not correct the problem, I spoke to a "supervisor" who also could not correct the problem and transferred me to the "manager" The manager could not fix the problem and even had trouble with not being able to lto her own computer! She ended up having to use a different computerI spent well OVER hours on the phone with Tracfone support and was still told that I could not keep my original phone number and the phone could not be activatedI was given a ticket number and told that I should receive a call within "hours" I was also told that if I missed their follcall, I was to contact them via a toll call at XXX-XXX-XXXX Since I have spent OVER THREE HOURS on the initial trouble call, I am very reluctant to call them back at a toll call number I am very troubled by this incident I have a second Tracfone that I commonly purchase service days for every days I have often gone for several days, even weeks after the expiration of the service days without loosing my telephone number Why is this? I used to tell everyone that I liked my Tracphone and had never had any problems Rest assured that I will no longer be giving this endorsement and will freely share my extreme displeasure and horrible experience Is this how you treat your long-term customers?

I was trying to help my mother transfer her very old tracfone (phone number, minutes, etc) to a new tracfone and had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with customer serviceI first tried on Sun to get it switched, they had issues, I was put on hold over and over because their system had to re-boot, then when she couldn't get it, she told me to wait for hrs and call backI called back on MonI was transferred to several people, put on hold over and over again because the system had to re-boot, then she told me I needed to use another airtime card to get it to goMy mother, who is retired, had purchased a min airtime card, which I gave to the lady on the phoneShe told me it would be 2-hours before it would go throughI waited and tried again on TuesThis time after being put on hold and sent to several people again, I was told I had to wait for up to days before it may go throughThurs it still had not gone through, but I decided to wait for another day, just for good measure, but when I called today (Fri), I got the same run-around: system has to re-boot, need to transfer, please hold, please hold, please h oldI had enough of speaking to people I had a hard time understanding and telling my situation to over and over, so I asked if the whole process could just be stopped, and have the minutes put on the original phoneOn hold yet again, then I was told that his supervisor told him the minutes were already on the new phone - the one that can't be transferred to, and cannot be removed to be put on the old phoneI was upsetMy mother is on a fixed income and only has a phone in case of an emergencyHer old phone keeps giving her issues and that is why she tried to switchNow she is out the money for the new phone, as well as the money for the minute airtime cardAll Tracfone had to say was "Thank you for calling TracfoneHave a good day." I have been a tracfone customer for over ten years In I purchased a re-conditioned phone from tracfone AugI upgraded to a new phone and called tracfone to transfer my number and minutes Over the years I have accumulated mins, a total of 10:07:hours of talk time They would only transfer 2,minsto my new phone May, sound impossible that I have so much time accumulated but I do not use my cell phone everyday as you can see by the hours I have used itI only have it for emergencies and if away from home if I need to make a call Between 5/19/- 8/2/ I made a total for calls I buy a yearly card and tracfone installs the timeI have called tracfone twice and they will not give me the rest of my accumulated times I get the impression they don't believe me The last person I talked to did try to get the minstransferred but was unable and she did call somebody higher up then her and she then told me they could no longer transfer mins from my old phone to my new one Why??they are mineI have been a satisfied customer for tracfone for all of those years but right now I feel like they have ripped me off I would NOT recommend tracfone It seems I have to other recourse to get my minsthat I have paid forback I will use the mins they gave me and then drop tracfone

There is a problem when porting a number from H2O to TracfoneH2O requires the account number and pin number of the H2O accountHowever, Tracfone is not aware of the pin requirement and sends only the account numberThe do-it-yourself Tracfone portipage does not have a place for the H2O pin [redacted] the super-CSR spent over an hour on the phone with me and a conference call with an H2O rep until we figured out that the H2O account has a pinAfter complying with this, the port went through instantlyI had been trying for days Please fix your web form to add a place for the H2O pinMany Tracfone reps will thank you
I purchased this phone for my mother to use, specifically because it was a no contract way for her to have phoneI pay for the phone and minutesIt took me hrs to set the phone up simply because you cannot talk to a live person, and their phone system is horribleKept sending me back or disconnecting me altogether, Since I dont have the phone, I registered on their horrible, horrible website so I could check balance of minutesAfter log-off and log-on, I still could not get balance and had to use their "speak to a live person" via their siteThey finally provided me with minute balanceI have learned a lesson from this experience--DO NOT USE TRACFONE and dont expect good customer support or an easy process for anything with this companyLook at Revdex.com firstOverall rating is minus stars
After losing time on my phone hours on my phone, because according to Tracfone my time had expired and the phone deactivatedYet the phone itself stated the time on the phone was good till 4-3-Called customer service talked to a customer service person and a supervisor neither of them could help with the losthoursVery upset
The phone # I was assigned was obviously in use shortly before it was registered to me I would say approximately 60% of the phone calls and texts I receive are for the person who had the number previously I also receive a lot of spam/junk calls and texts, so I must assume tracfone sells phone numbers or customer phone number lists
On Dec we put a new airtime card on our phone through customer serviceAt this time we had accumulated at least minutes already minimumOn Dec the phone was suddenly no longer in serviceAfter calling tracfone and being shuffled from one unhelpful rep to another, we were told that we had not used the phone since July and that we were putting our minutes on someone else's phone....obviously not trueThis was followed by even more endless calls and being told that we'd be sent a new Sim card and our minutes would be returnedNow it's Sim cards later and once again we're being told our phone hasn't been active and we have no minutesBasically they just want to give us the run around and force us to pay more out to replace airtime/minutes we already should have
