In February of this year I booked a room at this hotel thru E [redacted] My stay was suppose to be at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown (EHouston St.) I was attending a National Conference for the School Nutrition Association in San Antonio, my reservation was for the dates July 9th-14thI planned almost months in advance as I knew how busy the hotels would be for this areaI called July 6th to confirm my reservation and to let them know I was coming for sure since I had booked so far in advanceThe lady that answered pulled up my reservation and said everything was great and thanked me for callingI drive miles days later and arrived around 1:30pm(check in was 3:00) I told them I had arrived a little early and they checked to see if my room was ready, to which I was told it wasn't quite readyI also discovered upon arrival that the hotel had NO GUEST PARKING (except VALET ONLY and was $39/day)Which was not listed on the website that there is NO self parking!! We decided to just wait for our roomAfter unloading all our luggage and having the valet take our car to park it since there was no other option we wait in the lobbyFinally, after waiting almost an hour and fifteen minutes, I am told they don't have a room for me there is a problem and to call E [redacted] to be "relocated"I had already been told my room wasn't ready just yet and let other people "check-in" ahead of me!! They said earlier in the week air conditioning had went out in a few of the roomsWhy wasn't I told this when I called? When I contacted E [redacted] they told me this hotel had overbookedEnded up getting relocated to a different hotel which ultimately ended up costing me unexpected expenses about $to be exact! I emailed Marriott and was told someone would contact me in 3-daysIt has been almost weeks and no response from them whatsoever

Houston St.) I was attending a National Conference for the School Nutrition Association in San Antonio, my reservation was for the dates July 9th-14th. I planned almost 6 months in advance as I knew how busy the hotels would be for this area. I called July 6th to confirm my reservation and to let them know I was coming for sure since I had booked so far in advance. The lady that answered pulled up my reservation and said everything was great and thanked me for calling. I drive 500 miles 3 days later and arrived around 1:30pm(check in was 3:00) I told them I had arrived a little early and they checked to see if my room was ready, to which I was told it wasn't quite ready.
