purchased from us on January 30, 2015. Customer called 7 months later in August 2015 to complain about a scratch that has been touched up.
We do have a 30 day/1,000 mile warranty that covers 50% of the labor and 50% of the parts on powertrain items which include (Engine Internals, Transmission Internals, Front and Rear Drive Axles) and we do offer extended warranties for an additional fee. No warranty would cover a paint scratch after the customer has accepted the delivery of the vehicle. If there was an issue with a scratch or touch-up that was not acceptable for the customer at time of purchase, then it should of been brought to the dealers attention at that time, not 7 months later. Plus as a dealer I have no control of what might have happened physically to the vehicle within the last 7 months.
