Review: It's a long story but the service department has taken advantage of me, had repairs not needed on vehicle and caused further issues with vehicles after repairs and would not warranty there work and/or said it was a different issue which it was not. Customer service was horrible. Best to explain by phone rather than right up a huge page this issue started in 07/12 and is ongoing.Desired Settlement: The the community to know what they might be getting into if they have there vehicle serviced or repaired at there facilities. I would not want them issuing me free service or voucher do to I do not trust them to touch my truck again. Unfortunately we just bought a new 30th anniversary van there last month and now if anything goes wrong with this vehicle I have no dealership to take it to in my area do to lack of trust.

In response to Mr. [redacted]’s complaint, I have attached our repair order from his last visit to our store on April, 09 of 2014. Mr. [redacted] stated his transmission seems to hang in first gear and seemed to lose power. Our shop confirmed he had no power to the rear wheels and transmission will not shift out of first gear and when it does second gear slips. We removed the pan and found friction material and brass material in the pan. We saved the material the for the customer. We recommended replacing the transmission because of the material in the pan. Customer declined replacing the transmission and we put back the pan and the customer picked up his vehicle.

I would have to believe that this was the transaction that caused the complaint, because if it was from any other transaction, I am sure he wouldn’t have returned to our store for service. Mr. [redacted] has been a customer of our for years, and I am not really sure what specific items he is referring to, but I would be more than happy to research any other issues.
