Revdex.com:
I have
reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Not once during any interaction prior to the vehicle actually having an issue, was any of this disclosed to meI never signed anything saying that I would tow the vehicle miles back to the dealer for repairLosing oil pressure is a very serious issue with a vehicle and could possibly result in needing a replacement or rebuilt motorMany mechanics I've met over the years won't even touch Volkswagens, let alone get involved in such a complex repair if they aren't extremely familiar with these carsYet, conveniently, Tower Auto Sales found two of the mechanics that they work with that would perform the work "significantly cheaper" than my two local optionsHow is this even possible without knowing what's wrong with the carMy local shop hasn't even given me a price yetDetails of their personal shops failing to repair the issues appear in previous Revdex.com complaints.
Maybe they'll fix it, maybe they'll sort of fix it, maybe they fail miserably multiple timesAs the customer who lives out of state, it's simply unfair to ask me to spend money to have my daily driver taken to them so they can have it for an uncertain amount of time and not be sure that it is properly repairedIf it fails again shortly after, what do I do? My warranty expires in a few weeks so they won't have the slightest obligation to assist meIf by chance they would feel so kind as to assist, what will their proposal be, tow it back again? It'd be one thing if this was disclosed to meThey never said I was covered under NYS Limited WarrantyIf they had, I would have looked into it and upon seeing how incredibly useless it would be for my scenario, I would have found a different car or knowingly taken the gambleThey had no problem selling me the car or getting me transit plates to travel out of stateThey clearly knew where I was from and had no concern or thought to make sure I understood the warrantyPure ignorance is what I call thatA "stand up" dealership would've disclosed this before taking my money and had they forgotten, they would own up, take the hit, and keep the customer happy
