on that same day 03/**/17 based on medical necessity. Case [redacted]3/**/2017 at 12:09pm Call was received requesting precertification for an “urgent” CT scan. We advised the provider to fax the clinical documentation to review for medical necessity.03/**/2017 at 12:28pm Clinical was received 03/**/2017 at 4:35pm the review was completed by our medical director and approved based on medical necessity.03/**/2017 at 8:33am Approval letter was generated and mailed out to the Provider, Member and facility 03/**/2017 at 1:20pm Our intake staff Jerife received a call from the member checking on status on the case.
