Mr. Peter B, director of Top Team Volleyball Club, failed to abide by the USA Volleyball code of ethics which is the basis for his contract for young athletes participating in his volleyball club, a member of the ***. He runs a predatory organization designed only to guarantee his profits, encouraging a culture of bullying, unprofessional conduct, and overbearing “drill instructor” mentality physical training that puts the young teenage women in his program at risk. His club contract, requiring either full season payments or predated, pre-signed checks to be submitted as a condition to accepting a club offer ensures that his profits are preserved above any commitment to the professional development of the young athletes. Parents and young athletes have a right to know of his practices before they and their children are trapped in a situation where they lose financially, they miss out on the professional skills development that they think they have contracted for, and they are trapped in an coaching environment that whose primary tools iare bullying, manipulation, and inappropriate interaction with other team members, abusing the unique authority and responsibility entrusted in a coach as defined in the USAV Code of Ethics.
