I’m in my 80’s and know nothing about the internet or running a website business. When I was contacted by Top Shelf E-Commerce they explained their options to develop my online business and I jumped at the chance to start making money from home.
In October of 2015, I paid Top Shelf E-Commerce a total of $7,034.91 for services that I don’t believe I received other than a *** Link. I did not get the promised directory submissions, holiday video, digital business card, QR code, press release or anything else that I paid for. I did not see any more traffic to my site like they said would happen. I’ve tried reaching out to the company for a refund but they refused. I feel like they took advantage of me and I want a refund.
We have provided copies of the agreements between our company and Mr.. The agreements totaled $6700 in charges, not $7,034.91, we're not sure where our client is getting that number from. As shown in the agreements provided, we were to supply Directory Submissions, a QR Code, Holiday Video, Video Submissions, Digital Business Card and *** News. In addition to the agreements we have provided a copy of the confirmation agreement that Mr. signed in which he confirms that he did receive each product and furthermore was fully satisfied with the work provided. Aside from the products listed our agreements we offer no guarantees of increased sales or income. Finally, we do not ask nor would we discriminate against any clients based on their age. As all products and services have been provided we feel no refund is due.

I am rejecting this response because I don't agree with Top Shelf Ecommerce. I did not get what was described to me at purchase. I thought I was buying marketing tools for my website that would bring potential customers to the site. I don't remember ever seeing the products/services that they claim to have provided.
Sincerely
On 9/11/2015, I got a call from Steve at Top Shelf Ecommerce. He was selling a website business that would make it possible for me to make money from home. I was hesitant at first because I do not know a lot about the internet and I’m a single mother of two boys, one with special needs. I explained all of this to Steve and he assured me that I’d be earning an income within 1 year and not to worry because Top Shelf would help me every step of the way. I gave in and paid $9,500 for a custom affiliate website, custom logo development, QR code, digital business cards, and marketing video development. Then a few days later, I got another call saying that I would need additional services. On 9/15/15, I paid another $4,000 for directory submissions, ***, and ***. They told me this would get my website on the first page of *** searches.
Everything they promised turned out to be a lie. I did get a website but it was not custom for me and there was no way I could ever make money with the site. I didn’t get all of the other services and my website never showed up on *** searches as promised. It’s been over 2 years now and Top Shelf has refused to refund my money. They claim that they fulfilled services and that nobody ever promised me that I’d make money with the website, but that’s not true. They may not have put it in writing, but they definitely told me that I was buying a profitable website and I’d be earning an income within a year. I’m very upset about this whole situation and I don’t understand how they get away with it. They’ve left me with no website, no money, and a huge debt. Please help me get my money back and stop them from doing this to others.
Ms. claims that she was verbally promised a financially successful website. This matter has previously been addressed and invalidated by our attorney (see attached). We have included our agreement which specifically states that the company makes no promises or guarantees neither verbally nor in writing, and should a client feel otherwise they must refuse to sign the contract. Ms. has filed multiple duplicate complaints against our company, making claims that are unfounded and inaccurate. We worked with Ms. regularly from September of 2015 through November 2017. Every effort was made to assist her in creating a successful business, however we do not control her business and therefore can only indirectly influence its success. Our records indicate we fulfilled our agreement with Ms. and provided each product and/or service as agreed upon and within the arranged time frames. As such, no refund is owed and we trust this resolves her complaint.

I am rejecting this response because I don't agree with their claims. Top Shelf's sales person did verbally promise me that I would make money with the website they sold me. Why would I pay over $13,000 for a website unless they told me it would make money? Also, their claim that they worked with me for 2 years and made every effort to help me be successful is false!
Sincerely
