My experience with Tony's refinishing and Upholstery. I receive my refinished chairs today, 5 months later. I understand that process takes time to re-stain and upholster furniture but continued communication to a customer is appreciated. I had a hard time reaching Matt and had no idea where the process was at times. Matt did a great job in the upholstering. I furnished the fabrics and he did come to my home to be sure I would approve the color of the stain and pick up the fabric that had been here for a few months. The stain does match the dining room table perfectly though I wish there had been a little more gloss to the finish as originally discussed. Matt is a sole proprietor of the business. He has had some difficult times securing experienced furniture upholsters and experienced wood finishers.
Company responded via phone:Everything is about detail. Consumer did not get fabric from consumer till last month. Company stated the job is very detailed and they will not consider the job complete until everything is 100% satisfactory. They have been in touch with the consumer and the chairs...
