A few issuesFirst of all, my husband is experiencing severe sciatic pain radiating to the foot, etcHe had injections, no relief experiencedThat in and of itself is NOT the issueWhen the Dr looked at the MRI results (brought from the VA on referral) at the 2nd appt, he asked if the problem might be in my husband's headSERIOUSLY? After reviewing the MRI at the 2nd appt, he then made a referral to a neurologist at YRMCAt the scheduled 3rd appt (today) my husband arrived at the office and was told that they did NOT have him scheduledHe has a hand-written card from the office given to him at the time he made the appt for the scheduled time that they did not showThey did not offer to attempt to schedule him inHe left and will not be returningAt his first appt, I sat in the waiting room for approximately minutes while he was seenI overheard the front office staff make several calls to new clients, some of which were VA referrals, confirming their first appts, and requiring them to come in before the appt to complete paper workSeveral of the calls I felt were borderline brusque with the client, and somewhat condescendingOur overall impression of the office staff and dr are poor
A few issues. First of all, my husband is experiencing severe sciatic pain radiating to the foot, etc. He had 2 injections, no relief experienced. That in and of itself is NOT the issue. When the Dr looked at the MRI results (brought from the VA on referral) at the 2nd appt, he asked if the problem might be in my husband's head. SERIOUSLY? After reviewing the MRI at the 2nd appt, he then made a referral to a neurologist at YRMC. At the scheduled 3rd appt (today) my husband arrived at the office and was told that they did NOT have him scheduled. He has a hand-written card from the office given to him at the time he made the appt for the scheduled time that they did not show. They did not offer to attempt to schedule him in. He left and will not be returning. At his first appt, I sat in the waiting room for approximately 30 minutes while he was seen. I overheard the front office staff make several calls to new clients, some of which were VA referrals, confirming their first appts, and requiring them to come in before the appt to complete paper work. Several of the calls I felt were borderline brusque with the client, and somewhat condescending. Our overall impression of the office staff and dr are poor.
