I have used Tom Cat construction for several projects over the last few years. I have found Tom to be creative on solutions and super creative on design. One project was a difficult basement remodel. My Chicago home had half a basement (so half below grade) which continued to have water issues.. Not only did Tom do a fantastic job redesigning and remodeling the basement.. He completely solved the water leakage around a trouble door/corner. He was able to reconfigure the bathroom and worked with very high end finishes. I have also had tom do a complete guest house build (for airbnb). I left it up to him from both a design and build perspective. It was amazing. I would say the guest house looks like the room of a W Hotel suite! the finishes he chose were well thought out and yet still within budget... This was more than I could have hoped for. Tom has an eye for design, but has the hands for building... As I think about any areas of improvement there really weren't any.. His email is quite short and to the point, but I don't mind that at all! Will definitely use again.
