I made an appointment with Tom for Thursday, October 1, 2015. Tom never showed up and when I called 45 min after he was supposed to be at our house, his wife answered. She told me he had taken a relative to the airport and that I wouldn't be able to reach him since he didn't have his phone. I told her I had had my husband come home early from work to meet him and was angry about this. She apologized and told me she would have him call me first thing in the morning. He didn't. He finally called late in the day and set up another appointment for Sunday, October 4, 2015. Once again he didn't show up and he didn't bother to call either. Totally unprofessional.

Hired Tom [redacted] to help us with a roof repair. He took into consideration that this particular issue could lead to major damage in our home and came over immediately to do a temporary fix for us. (our ridge vent had completely come off). It was evening, and dark (and windy!) but that didn't stop him from helping us out in what could have turned into huge disaster, knowing rain was in the forecast for that night. He gave us an extremely reasonable quote on the spot to complete the repair under better weather conditions. He returned within a few days, was extremely efficient, and the repair cost matched his quote exactly. We were so happy we immediately referred him to family. They hired him for a project as well. Being relatively new homeowners, we feel completely confident now that we have a "go to" guy to help us with any repairs that may come up.
