October we signed a contract for a rebuild of our entire home due to a massive fire
The fire was in June
Mr*** waited until he had the first payments to sign
Building started in February promising us to be in our home by April 2016!!!!
DID NOT HAPPEN AND STILL IS NOT EVEN 50% COMPLETED!!!
The worse part is that we gave the him the money because we were desperate to get out of this homeless situation and financial burden!!!
Todd(Douglas) *** said that he needed entire amount in order to buy all building materials including metal package plus builders and framers, lumber, stone, concrete, electric and plumbing
TO THIS DAY TODD(DOUGLAS) JOHNSON HAS NOT PAID FOR THE SUBCONTRACTORS!!!!
Excuses everyday, long periods of refusing any type of communication caused much despair
TO BE BLUNT, TODD(DOUGLAS) JOHNSON HAS SPENT OUR $174,ELSEWHERE AND NOT ON OUR HOME!!!!!!!!
Legal fees later he still will not furnish any invoices or monies owed!!!
DO NOT HIRE HIM OR YOU WILL JOIN THE MANY HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE IN SIMILAR SITUATIONS

Review: This complaint spans multiple categories but ultimately results in a warranty issue. TAC Innovations, namely Todd Johnson, the sole proprietor, contracted with us to renovate our master bathroom and to finish approximately 900 sqft in our basement in the fall of 2015. There were a few red flags during the process that alerted us that something may be wrong, including hearing from a subcontractor who had not received payment and was having trouble contacting Ms. Johnson, extending the date of completion multiple time and generally poor customer service throughout the later stages of our project. There were also delays in completion related to code issues with the HVAC system in our basement that still fails to heat the room above the mid 50s in the winter. What prompted this specific complaint, however, is Mr. Johnson's failure to return our calls regarding multiple lose tiles in our master bathroom. He claims to guarantee his work for two years, but it has become apparent over the last few months that he has little to no intention of actually standing by his work. We also had a tile crack in the shower when the glass door was installed that he has been aware of for about 12 weeks, yet nothing has been done.Desired Settlement: Ideally I want the work in my bathroom corrected in accordance with the warranty Mr. Johnson agreed to when we contracted with him. That includes repairing the lose and cracked tiles.

Review: Hello, I hired Mr Johnson to reconstruct my home after a house fire in late 2012 and home was complete in 2013 June. Whereas Mr Johnson and his associates did a great job. However I have attempted after the fact of contacting him via phone, email and text and have been unsuccessful bearing the first attempt where he promised to come to the home and look at the repairs that need to be taken care of which are about 6-8 things. But he never showed or called.Desired Settlement: I would like to have Mr Johnson repair what rightfully needs repaired or pay for another person or company to take care of this for him.
