TN Home and Appliance Repair

In February 2018 my wife and I hired TN Home and Appliance Repair to encapsulate our crawl space, remove water from the crawl space, add a new sump pump and remove some mold. This project included hanging a new door to the space that would be sealed to keep animals and water out. The biggest portion of the project was complete within 2 months. At that time the company claimed they did not have the materials to build the door but that they were ordered and the door would be built as soon as they were available. They deducted $250.00 from the contracted price of $5750.00 that would be paid when the job was complete. Today is 9/25/2018. After numerous calls/emails to the company the door to the crawlspace is not complete. At this point all of the encapsulating and drying of the crawlspace was useless as the space is wet and critters have access. We have tried to contact the owner with no return calls. We have called the office on numerous occasions and been given a date for completion but no one shows up when stated. At this point we are considering legal action to recoup our nearly $6000.00 for a job that was never completed.
