T.L.C. Movers

We used tlc movers to move from a two-story house and I knew it wasn't an easy move. We had a number of large, heavy and fragile items upstairs and the stairway has a corner. I've personally moved things up and down and wanted no part of the aforementioned pieces. Best leave it to the pros.

And pros they were. They arrived on time and clean despite the summer heat. They were able to move all of the cumbersome and delicate things with nary (I've been itching for a chance to use that word) a scratch. They worked quickly too, taking little time for breaks - just enough to stay hydrated.

Of special mention is that they found space in the truck for a LOT of small items that we figured we would move in the car at a later date. By squeezing every last bit of space in that van I estimate they saved us 10 trips in the car.

I highly recommend tlc Movers. They are honest, dependable and won't surprise you with any hidden charges either.

I'm usually a crappy tipper when it comes to movers because they generally are not that good. the estimate they gave me was 220$ below the next guys..

I had also called some movers that didnt even have a name and they were claiming 24.99$ on backpage . com

they couldnt even give me a real estimate and kept mumbling in regards to all the fees I was asking about! wtf

The guys busted [redacted] to get done quickly, and I appreciate that. They weren't smartasses, they had good attitudes. They all had great chemistry and have fun.. not like my last movers who seemed extremely miserable/hungover. you want that positive energy when moving into a new place! They didnt mess anything up either, which is good. They took extreme care, to the point I was like "ok, that's a piece of junk shelf, you don't have to wrap that."

they can appreciate your good furniture and take great care at every corner, I respect that!

I tipped them 60 bucks, that's unprecedented. I'll definitely use them again.

I'm really glad I didn't choose those overly cheap 24.99$ movers.. they keep your stuff on the truck until you pay alllll their extra fees. thats cold!~~

The men that work for this company are fantastic! Extremely kind and very hard working! They do the job very fast with no brakes while carrying everything up three flights of stairs to my apartent!

I'm a younger man whose not in bad shape, but I would have died if I worked at their pace up and down those stairs.

I only had to pay what was agreed upon, and no more. I am very satisfied with this company, at thier rates they can't be beat.

The only thing is if you are not use to a more trusting, simple verbal contract like I am, it may feel a little scetchy. All the coordination was done over the phone or by texting. There was no deposit or order number, just word of mouth and trust that they'll show up. But, they showed up with two guys and a nice big truck, so it paid off and I couldn't be more pleased.

Moved from Chandler to Montana. They did a GREAT job of packing everything. After travelling 1300 miles in a 26' Budget truck and thern unloading it, virtually nothing was scratched up. Considering the distance that's quite a feat. They worked quickly, didn't mess around, were reasonable and I'd definitely recommend them.

flexible, I kept changing my mind and they were open to my indecisiveness, and mentioned that it happens all the time

but this was by bar my best moving experience, went by so fast and I saved so much in comparison to my next quote from some other east valley movers

TLC Movers is awesome! They came through for us in a pinch. The moving company that we had scheduled to come out backed out on us at the last minute. It was 4 o clock in the afternoon, and we had to be out of our place by midnight, so needed someone to come out ASAP. While most movers I called were already wrapping things up for the day, these guys were willing to help, they even drove all the way up to north Phoenix/ Glendale area from Chandler. They arrived at 6pm and finished at 10, doing the majority of the work in the dark. Very friendly group of guys, hard workers, and efficient, I have no complaints at all about them. Prices are very reasonable too, we paid $420 for everything, which ended up being considerably cheaper than what we would have paid through the other company. Would highly recommend!!

Review: TLC movers did not disclose "hidden fees" before the day of our move and had a different fuel charge listed than what I was told before on the phone, but presented them to us when they showed up to move us leaving us no real choices at that point (probably a common tactic is my guess). I immediately called the owner and he promised to reduce the fuel charge and eliminate the stair cost - both were written on the contract, but when it came time for final billing the worker accidentally included the cost for the stairs, but didn't actually show that he had included it on the invoice so I didn't catch it at first! I have had many text and phone conversations with the owner since then and he has made repeated promises that he would send a refund check to me, but he never has. He continues to make new excuses why he has not sent the check in the past two months and is obviously showing very, very poor customer service which should not be happening for an A+ rated Revdex.com company.Desired Settlement: Send the $39 billing adjustment as promised already.

When [redacted] called to request our services, I asked him to visit my website and he stated he had already been there, however I informed him about the 20% fuel charge, when we showed up that morning he called me about the fuel charge, leaving us with no other options, but to agree to charge him only 10%.

His previous address had a basement where most of his household items were, when he called me, he said that we had accidently charge him for stairs, and assure me that the house didnt have a 2nd floor.

I truly believe, we did an excellent job, moving his 4 bedroom house, in that amount of time, without any incidents, like we usually do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The business obviously doesn't remember this transaction or choosing not to since none of what was said is true. First of all a 15% not 10% fuel charge was agreed upon and is clearly written on the contract if they had even bothered to review the transaction, which they obviously did not. Second of all the house we moved out of was a single level house which has been told to them countless times now and is clearly and easily verified by their workers and the [redacted]. We went over that before the job even started and the charge was removed and then re-added later without me knowing it. Thirdly, I have text messages from the owner stating on many occasions that he was going to be sending me a check shortly, but there was always and excuse as to why it had not been sent yet - [redacted] was stuck in [redacted], they couldn't find the money order that they created for me, lost my address, etc... it was always something different each time finally I got fed up with the excuses and realized they never intended to pay for their mistake at all. Do the right thing for once and take care of your customer who you have already promised a refund to and stop playing around!

I had a terrible experience with TLC Moving! They agreed to move items for me, but ended up never showing up or returning my calls! I lost money to my landlord because these guys didn't move me out the day I was supposed to leave! I would never recommend them to anyone!

I contacted TLC Moving on April 18 to inquire about setting up services for the next day, which included moving a couple pieces of furniture and assembling a dresser. The man I spoke to on the phone said that he would be able to accommodate this on the 19th, but it wouldn't be until late afternoon/early evening. I told him that would be fine, so he said he would call me the next day to confirm an exact time. At around 1pm on the 19th, I still hadn't heard from TLC Moving so I called them. They answered and I reminded them of the job we discussed the day before. He said he was still able to move my items and assemble the dresser, and he would call me in a couple of hours when he was ready to begin. I lost track of time while I was packing, and it was 6:45pm before I realized I still hadn't heard back. I called and got a voicemail. I called again, and still got a voicemail. I ended up calling several more times and never received an answer or callback, and I ended up having to hire a different moving company.
