I contacted the Mr. [redacted] directly and we resolved his concern. He pointed out some errors with our business hours online and we corrected them. As a thank you for his help and to apologize for the inconvenience, we gave him 20% off the price of the part he purchased. All is good. :)
On 2/25/16, Mr. [redacted] dropped off his vehicle via our night drop check in. When we called to confirm, he stated he only wanted an oil change and for us to check out his seat heater. We informed him at the time that our oil change includes a complimentary visual inspection but a thorough...
inspection has a charge associated with it. The visual inspection turned up several items that we recommended Mr. [redacted] address but, aside from a battery replacement, he declined any additional diagnosis or work.
The issue that caused Mr. [redacted] vehicle to break down is not something that would be found in a visual inspection. Since Mr. [redacted] declined additional work, we would have no way of knowing of an impending mechanical failure. While we empathize with Mr. [redacted] predicament, Titus-Will is in no way negligent in this situation. That said, as a sign of goodwill, we are more than happy to reimburse him the amount of the repair order ($324.27) provided he agrees to sign an Acknowledgement of Goodwill document. We are standing by awaiting his response.
