To whom this may concern, We are responding to reference # The customer came in on March 3, stating that he wanted to replace his engine, he the stated that he had found an engine at Ace Auto Parts in Saint Paul MN for $and asked how much labor would beWe then agreed on
the amount of $for labor plus any additional parts that would be neededOn March3, customer put down a deposit of $We contacted Ace Auto Parts about the engine and was informed that the engine only comes with a 30-day warranty from Ace Auto PartsWe then notified the customer about the warranty on the engine and the customer agreedWhile working on the customer's vehicle we came across several components that needed to be replaced, we contacted the customer and gave him prices and explanations of the other repairs needed at the time the customer agreed. On March 15, we contacted the customer to inform him that his car was ready to be picked upThe customer then stated that he had not received his settlement so he was unable at that time to come pick up his vehicleHe then started sending weekly to bi weekly payments of $We contacted the customer again on March 25, in regards to picking up his vehicle, and that he would start to incurred storage fees if the vehicle wasn't picked up but the following week, he stated he was having financial issues and was unable to come pick up his carCustomer didn't come to pick up his vehicle until a month laterManagement at Tires for Less took into consideration how long he has been a customer and decided not to charge storage fees. After the customer paid the total amount and retrieved his vehicle he returned two days later, stating that his car was making a noise if we could look back over the work that was performedManagement told him they had no problem looking over r his vehicle butt there were several vehicles in front of his and it would be a couple days before they could look at itThe customer then became irate and started yelling and using vulgar languageAt that time, the customer left with his vehicle. We are very happy to look over our work to ensure that everything we have done is correctWe also re-informed the customer that his warranty with Ace Auto Parts had expired while the car was sitting at the shop. We have never referred to any of our customers in a derogatory mannerWe strive to serve all of our customers with the same respect and quality of service as if we were serving our parents.
