Our experience with Time Shares Only has been a negative one They presented themselves as a company that "make things happen"
Nothing has happened since we paid them to promote our timeshare One can never get a person to answer the phone, and, if they he/she returns your call they always say the same thing "we have no offers"
It has been almost two years, nothing has happened What a waste of our hard earned money!
I was screwed by Timeshares Only who took an upfront fee of $498 U.S. in March 2010 to advertise my timeshare for resale, and it just sat in their website until November 2011. No one followed up and when I called several times to talk to someone, the answer was always negative. I therefore demanded a refund which was refused, claiming that I should refer to the contract which supposedly stated that there would be no refund whatsoever - WRONG !! Such a clause did not even exist in the so called contract.
I then proceeded to have my timeshare sold by [redacted] who were also unsuccessful to sell it for almost 4 years. I also attempted to donate my timeshare to[redacted] for almost 6 months without any success. All this resulted in a $750 U.S. fee out of my pocket to give back my timeshare to the developer who only recently had a Quit Claim Deed program.
In addition, an employee of Timeshares Only, who claimed to be in the business since 16 years at the time, suggested that I should put my sale price to $15,000 when I had paid $12,000 in 2008, as if it was even possible to make a profit out of it. NOT TRUE as I came to realize only too late.
I would warn any future potential buyer who is interested buying a timeshare, DO NOT DEAL with this company. In fact, stay away from timeshare altogether, it is not an investment and not for someone who is travelling alone.
I recently sold my timeshare through Timesharesonly and had a very good experience. They contacted me offering their service to advertise which I did have to pay for. Luckily, after reading all the bad news, I sold mine and was happy. For eight hundred dollars it was worth it (to me anyway).
Good luck out there,
