In October 2014, I placed two dresses on consignment with this business. When I relocated, I informed the business. On February 5, 2015, I received a voicemail informing me that one of my dresses had been sold. I contacted the business, and provided an updated address for my payment to be sent to. Between February and April 2015, I established contact with the business and had no luck receiving payment. In April 2015, the business no longer picked up or responded to my numerous calls.Desired SettlementI would like the business to provided full payment that they received for hr dress that was sold. That is, both the 50% I was entitled to in the contract and the 50% that they were to keep as a fee. I am asking for this because all contact has been on my part, and the business has not completed the service that was provided. I would like proof of sale of the dress mentioned. Additionally, the remaining dress that I have listed for consignment will be picked up by a representative of my choice.
I consigned clothing with Timeless Fashions. I was contacted to pick-up any unsold items and had an appointment on Mar. 30 between 10-12 am. The store was closed and I was unable to contact the person who was suppose to meet me there. She later contacted me and told me she had car trouble and phone problems coming home from Carson City. She told another consignee that she was too tired after the weekend to come to the store. I then went to the store on Mar. 31, to retrieve my items. The contract sheets stated that I had 7 items in the store. I was only presented with 5. They then discounted the 2 "lost" items by 40% and gave me $20. After returning home on Mar. 31, I received a text that I might possibly be owed $57.42. I was text on April 1, that they were still backtracking to double check. In the middle of all this they were CLOSED DOWN by Sparks licensing for an expired State and local operating license. However, their claim was that "we will be closed until inventory is done to our new insurance company's satisfaction." I contacted them again on April 8 for a follow-up on the money. On that date I was told that I WAS owed $57.00 "but I have to find out how to make the 'transaction' since we can't do any business till the ins.co. clears us." On April 9, I received a text ,"I have your $57.00. Would you like it mailed or what?" I provided my address and stated I wanted it mailed.Today, April 14, I contacted them to see if or when the check would be mailed. Today's response was "I got the 2014 receipts out and I will go through them tonight to see what I find." Now the owner states that the consignment had been paid. The record keeping at this business is at a minimum negligible. Consignment payouts are always in cash, so it it difficult for record keeping on their part. As you can see from the previous account the stories change continually. They plan to move to [redacted], Reno in May. They should NOT be granted a license. I am concerned for all who consign here, especially elderly.Desired Settlement I would like to have the books of this business reviewed and all that are owed money paid, to include myself. The practices of this business are not professional or upfront.
