Tiffany Adams Hair Design

I was given a gift certificate by my daughter for $100 for services at Tiffany Adams Salon. The gift certificate number is # ***. There is no expiration date printed on this certificate. I made my appointment via phone call. On January 8, 2020 I arrived for my appointment at 2:30 p.m. I presented my certificate and was told by *** that the handwriting on the certificate was not her's. Her co-worker said that it looked like her writing & found record of the sale in a log book dated from the Fall of 2018. The co-worker then said the certificate is expired. How can this be if there is no expiration date on the certificate? *** wrote on the back of the certificate, "Issued a haircut on 1/8/2020 $40.00", and then signed her name. I was treated with disdain by *** and co-worker in front of two other customers regarding this certificate. I later called about using the remaining $60 on the certificate, as well as notifying corporate management of Salon Lofts about this matter. *** called me back & implied she would not honor the rest of the certificate. I waited several days, and left a counter offer that I would accept one more haircut (in May 2020) and consider the matter resolved.
