Thunderbird Small Engine Repair

On Monday October 30th, 2017 I called Thunderbird to have my snow blower repaired. The gentleman came to *** to pick up the machine and would return when it was fixed. The man returned roughly an hour later saying he changed the starter and it would be $120. Upon trying to start the machine it became apparent the machine was not fixed as it would not start. The man again left with the machine. Some hours later he called *** and spoke to my manager and told her "The machine needs a new starter and that will be a little bit extra".

When I returned to my business after some brief shopping my manager told me the gentleman from Thunderbird had called and what he had said. I was confused as he told me earlier that he had fixed it but it was not fixed, evidenced by the machine not starting up when he brought it back to the motel.

When I called him I explained that he told me he fixed the starter already for a cost of $120 and told him I was confused how my machine could have a second starter problem that he was intending to charge me for. On Nov.6, 2017 I went to his business to retrieve my machine for the $120 we agreed upon. The man became angry and aggressive and the police were called and I had to leave without my machine.
