Review: I was charged for work that I did not ask to have completed on my 1998 Boat in the amount of $519.00. I explicitly told the owner that I did not want the work to be completed. The owner, took my out drive off the boat and would not put the out drive back on the boat. The owner encouraged me to use my insurance to cover all expenses. The owner threatened to fight with me. I had to get law enforcement involved.
I paid $1800 for the fall winterizing, wrap and storage. I was not allowed to take my boat until I provided another $519.00 [CASH ONLY] . I was advised by law enforcement that this was the only way to get my boat and to utilize the civil court process for retribution. I did not sign a work order or a work request.
I am filing a civil case in the upcoming weeks.Desired Settlement: Refund of my $519.00 for work not authorized. $400.00 for transportation charges to another facility so that the out drive [which was disassembled without my knowledge] . $700 for the out drive to be reinstalled along with parts that were needed that were not provided by three rivers when I picked up the boat.
