Minnesota Secured Title strives to provide a high level of service.There was a misunderstanding regarding the payment of assessments on the property leaving the seller having not paid their assessment at closing.? Knowing they were responsible for that cost,? the seller made repeated
attempts to make that payment after closing.? Because the payment had already been made by the buyer, those payments were returned to them.? If the seller reimbursed the buyer for that cost, we would have been required to notify the lender? for them to make the determination if they would need to revise some of the closing documentsIt is our policy to? notify the lender for any post-closing adjustments or payments? ? ?
