ThermaPro Insulation

I went through Angie's list and ThermaPro responded promptly. John, the owner?, gave me several options and prices based entirely on two photos and some dimensions. They had the insulation in within the week, and they completely cleaned up afterwards! I was very pleased and will have them do the insulation for the "big" house next. I was out of town during the installation, left a key, and all went smoothly. John sent photos of the job which I appreciated. The insulation job was so complete, with all window perimeters and other openings filled, that the place initially felt like an anechoic chamber.

These guys were professional, in and out in a timely manner and cleaned up after. I am very happy with their service and will call again on other projects. They did our new barn and just finished our garage.

My experience with this company was very good. They were first to answer my H inquiry- on a Sunday no less. The questions asked by the owner put me at ease about the feasibility of the estimate. He was very accommodating with my time schedule, called the day before the scheduled work to confirm, then again when the crew was ready to head out. Crew arrived on time and got right to work - this involved removing water damaged insulation and drying the area before the foam insulation was installed.
The foreman kept me informed of their activities, including evicting a skunk that had taken up residence in the crawl space, and when they were finished they cleaned up quickly and thoroughly. I was charged according to the estimate which was considerably less than the other companies I got estimates from.
My house was immediately warmer. Quite happy with this company.

The owner seemed like a fast talking car salesman. I asked for a receipt and never got one. The owner called me and said he had issues with his email and invoicing and therefore was unable to send a receipt. His crew came into my home and he told me not to talk with them. They did not bring supplies to clean up and had a man who was to walk around and pick up debris by hand(?). They did not come with a vacuum or tools to clean up. The men did not allow enough time for the work - work was not consistent throughout the house. Will 'not' recommend to anyone to use this company. Owner tried to compare another house as to why or how he was giving me a supposed "good" deal when I questioned or discussed the price by showing me pictures of another house. Quite frankly pictures don't show me anything or tell me anything. He quoted a military discount and then would not honor it when I mentioned the Home Advisor ad and said that it should have been taken down. I cannot submit this ad unless there is a star rating given. If I could give 0 starts I would.
