The customer is somewhat accurate in that there was a mistake on the final bill on the night of the event. The customer signed the credit card bill and left without speaking to a manager or owner until the next day. On 2/7 I received an email from her (the event was 2/6 and ended late in the...

evening) and immediately apologized for any misunderstandings and promised I would get back to her as soon as I had a chance to investigate it. I spoke to the staff, reviewed the bill and there was a mistake in the final calculation of the bill - I immediately recalculated the bill and refunded the customer the ENTIRE TIP amount and received an email from the customer that she was pleased with how quickly we responded and corrected the mistake. Internally I met with the staff and reviewed the proper way to calculate party packages and correctly ring them into the system. The Wine Loft has been in business for 7 years and hold private parties on a regular basis and this is the first time we have ever had an issue like this and like I said took the mistake seriously, corrected it immediately and reviewed the specifics with the staff to ensure that it does not happen again.
