The Willard at Preston Crossing

This place has been a nightmare since day 1. My lease ended in Jan & I stayed for the month of Feb. I was told to pay my normal rent $960 plus $100 for a "month to month" fee. I did as I was told.

Today I called and was told I had a balance of $175. I asked why and was told the month to month fee is actually $150 and my rent went to "market price" of $1060. I don't understand why I wasn't told until 02/19. The manager was very rude and professional, as always and told me it would be my words against the other apartment manager. I was denied corporate info and was told to send him and email and he would forward it. I don't know if this was done.

I was contacted by corporate before even sending the email. He apologized and very willing to help decrease the balance owed, IF I signed another lease with them. I refused & his kindness went out the window. He said the fees would stay, due to *** telling him she never told me an amount to pay. Which is false, but is still an issue. He said $75 of the fee was for my cable/internet, which again, I was never made aware of. This has always been included in the rent. Once I made it clear I would not resign, he refused to decrease the fee and told me he would take away the internet and cable cost and turn my services off today.

it is disgusting how this has been handled. I have been a tenant with them since 2017 & I have paid everything I owe and have always paid on time. I was disgusted at how the property manager spoke to me, but even more disgusted with the person from Corporate.
