Failure to resolve maintenance orders.
I have had to submit multiple work orders for the same issues. I have emailed and gone in to talk with management and nothing has been resolved. For over a month now, I have had a ceiling leak in my bathroom, which the water is now spreading. I have had a leak from under my kitchen sink, and I have had a bathtub full of water that will not drain. These issues have been going on for over a month now. Maintenance has failed to resolve and management has done nothing. I have contacted the property management company, Dayrise Residential, and have not received any response as well. I pay my rent each month on time. I have been nothing but patient and pleasant and I am now at my boiling point. I'm paying for something I can't even get full usage out of.
I am needing my maintenance orders to be resolved immediately or I would like to be moved to a new unit at no charge.
Since day one of living here I have had many issues with maintenance of my apartment.
December 2017 to January 2018 I did not have any heat in my apartment for about 4 weeks before finally getting fixed. In August of 2018 I was robbed and informed by the police that the apartment would fix my door and lock it when I came back on the 18th door was wide open and Lock would not lock
I want to officially break my lease with no penalties to me
I was never contacted on my request for a partial refund.
We moved in late February. Before moving in we were advised that the apartment would have a working dishwasher. We noticed after the first couple days that the dishwasher did not work. I requested almost immediatley that they come and fix it. I had to request several more times after before they finally did so. They finally came about a month and a week later to replace the dishwasher. While waiting for the dishwasher to be fixed or replaced I complained to the GM and I requested a partial refund of $200.00. She promissed me she would get back to me on that. It has been quite a while now and I have yet to hear from her.
I am only asking for $200.00 towards my account or towards my next months rent. I think it is fair since my pregnant wife had to hand wash dishes the entire time.
Due to the fact that we have been extremely short staffed for a few months, we could not fix this in a timely manner. We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and will credit your account $200 on June 1st to deduct from June's rent.
Regards,
Madison
I've contacted my office w/my apartment more than once on repairing things in my apartment. One of the main things is standing water in my dishwasher.
I've even contacted the regional manager *** at *** and haven't received a call back or any resolution
